Terms of service (DRAFT, pending lawyer review)

• HostTaxDesk prepares and files routine lodging tax returns and sends reminders. We are not a CPA firm, law firm, enrolled agent or tax advisor, and we don't give tax or legal advice.
• You remain the operator responsible for your taxes and permits. Before each filing we send you the amount; you can pause it by replying, otherwise we file on schedule under the authorization you signed.
• We never receive, hold or transmit your tax payments. Each payment goes straight from your own bank account to the taxing authority, inside its official portal, under the limited authorization you sign and can revoke at any time.
• Our accuracy depends on the booking data you provide. Liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months [lawyer to set].
• Cancel anytime; monthly fees aren't refunded for partial months.
